Sakis Papadopoulos, our dedicated organic beekeeper, cares for the hives every day, ensuring healthy bees and premium-quality organic honey from our family-run beekeeping tradition.
Sakis was introduced to beekeeping by his father, who has worked in the field since 1985. From a young age, he spent countless hours among the family hives, observing the rhythms of the colony and gradually learning the techniques of the craft. Over the years, he developed a deep understanding of hive dynamics and the needs of the honeybee—knowledge that later shaped his professional path.
His goal is simple: to deliver honey that is pure, natural, and rich in flavour — exactly as the bees created it inside the honeycomb.
As he grew older, he studied Agronomy and Food Technology, enriching the family’s traditional knowledge with scientific expertise. Today, he continues to research and refine beekeeping practices, ensuring that every decision is made with the wellbeing of the bee in mind.
In 2016, together with Annie, he founded the Beekeeper Family Papadopoulos brand. Their mission: to produce and offer authentic Greek honey to people who seek quality and balance in their everyday nutrition.
