Organic Pine Honey

Aromatic Greek honey from Thasos and Halkidiki, sourced from conifer forests. Rich aroma, delicate taste, high viscosity, and exceptional quality.

Our Organic Pine Honey is harvested from the honeydew secretions of the Marchalina hellenica insect, found in the pine forests of Southern Halkidiki. When the beekeeping season reaches the stage known among beekeepers as “when the pine flows,” we move our hives deep into the forest, allowing the bees to collect this rare and nutritious honeydew.

Where it stands out

Because Pine Honey is naturally low in glucose, it is less sweet compared to flower honeys and crystallizes very slowly — typically after 18 to 24 months. It is rich in minerals and trace elements such as calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, and copper, making it one of the most nutrient-dense honeys in Greece.

It carries a distinctive, gentle aroma with subtle notes of pine resin and tree fruit, combined with a thick, smooth texture. Considered an exceptional table honey, it pairs beautifully with both sweet and savory foods and is ideal for everyday use.
